What are Service Items?

Service items are a way to categorize the type of work you do. For example, you could create service items for "WordPress Website", "PPC", "SEO", "Design", etc. Service items become useful when you associate them with work items, time logs, and expenses, and then run reports by service item (e.g., time log and expense reports). Service Items give you the ability to see how much SEO work you have done, or how much PPC work you have done, etc. Service items are created on the "Admin/Service Items" page. You can optionally associate a fee for a service item. This can be useful if you have fixed fee services. You can also invoice by service item.
