Work Item Keys

Work item keys are unique identifiers that can help you distinguish between different work items in Ravetree. They can be particularly important when you have multiple work items with the same name, since the key is guaranteed to be unique. You can search for work items by their key in the main search field.

Format

Top-level work items can have their keys auto-generated, or you can enter a key when creating a work item. Customization options can be found in on the Amin/Company Info page in Ravetree.

All auto-generated work item keys have a prefix, followed by a hyphen, then an auto-incrementing number. If you enter a custom work item key, then all nested work items will use this custom key as the prefix.
