Uploading & Attaching Files
Files can be uploaded to Ravetree from the following locations:
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- OneDrive
- Box
As an alternative to uploading files, you can attach files from on of these services:
- Google Drive
- Dropbox
- Box
The difference between uploading and attaching is that when you attach a file you are simply linking to the file (e.g., in Google Drive). You will still be able to view the file in Ravetree, but the file isn't actually uploaded to our servers. This might be the preferred option if you want to maintain all of your files on a service such as Google Drive, but still have the ability to link those files to work items, contacts, etc., in Ravetree.
Files can be uploaded or attached from the Files page or directly to the following items:
- Work Item
- Account
- Contact
- Event
- Retainer
